This level was so amazing for me to do, so many wins.  I wasn’t sure if I had that much to handle but after my auditor got me going the whole area opened up that I wasn’t even aware of.

I had so many wins and my space expanded out and cleaned up nicely and it feels wonderful.

The Incredible Power of New Era Dianetic Auditing for OTs.

We call it “NOTs” for short.  It is advanced level auditing done after a successful run on OT III.  I want to share a cognition, because I have now recognized the incredible power of NOTs.

NOTs auditing, done properly by those who are trained well in auditing the subject, changes basic character.  That is the cog.

I’ll try to explain.  Each person has an identity by which others recognize him.  This is a fixed identity.  When someone says “I’m Joe or Mary” they are describing an entire personality that they show you.  It is a fixed personality, a fixed character type. 

Stereotype personalities are simply NOTs cases.  It is that case that doesn’t change on lower level auditing.  A person “keys out”, or goes clear of his bank, but when you look at him he is still Joe or George.  He may be cheerful as a general rule rather than unpleasant as he may have been before auditing,  but his basic character has not changed.  You free him of fixed ideas on Grade IV and that is a big boost, and he is happier not making others wrong.  So some of the negative traits have been removed from the basic character, that set of characteristics that he/she presents as himself and you agree to, saying yes, that is how he/she is.

What I have noticed is that there is a basic core to the personality that doesn’t change with auditing lower than the level of NOTs.  It doesn’t even change on the L’s.

Haven’t you known people who have had auditing and wonderful wins and gains, but their habits haven’t changed?  They still shake the house when they walk, or they are too loud or too soft when they speak.  You recognize Bill by his big belly laugh.

I’m not saying that these things are wrong, I’m just saying that they are stuck.  Stuck viewpoints; the person always responds that way, good or bad.  This includes his psychosomatic illnesses.  If your husband or wife has had a lot of good auditing but still has some really fixed annoying trait that seems to be deeply imbedded then that is the NOTs case.

Once can “see” the changes in others as NOTs goes along, because NOTs runs deep, it removes the unwanted personality traits, unwanted just about anything.  It changes the personality.  It changes the basic character of you as a life source, because with that stuck personality gone you can show through in all your glory.

Ok, so I am raving about NOTs right now, because I have just seen its potential.  If you could get a criminal through OT III with a good win, you could handle that “criminal” part of his personality.  It would be gone.

NOTs isn’t new to me.  I did NOTs for a number of years, until I just gave a “that’s it”.  Rather flat. I came through it with the “milk of human kindness” in my veins.  I had a huge tolerance of other’s conditions.  I had had wins on NOTs, but the wins I had did not start to touch my NOTs case.  I had done it in the Freezone.  I did it mostly without a C/S.  My original NOTs solo training course was limited—we didn’t even have the information on how to fly ruds on OTs.

Now I’m fully hatted.  I understand a lot I didn’t understand then.  I had my first NOTs Correction list done by another person.  It was a totally new experience.

So this you might say is a delayed cognition from that session.  I know what NOTs can do if done properly.  I know where it really belongs on the bridge…because it changes character.  Character is an awareness level on the Classification, Gradation and Awareness Chart.  Until you are free of what you think is you that isn’t you can’t really be truly aware of your own character or that of others.
