Hello. I want to make a general announcement of future changes in the Tech Dept. at Elma,WA.

It is always better for any preclear to have a c/s and an auditor rather than to have the c/s change hats and do both. It gives two viewpoints about the tech and the pc’s case.
People who come to Elma for auditing expect me to do the auditing, and of course I will do that if you insist. I will also audit any grade/repair that Tim isn’t trained to do.
I would appreciate it though if you would consider the fact that I have many other hats to wear, and it helps me personally and the group a lot if you arrive willing to have another auditor besides myself.
Tim is coming along nicely on his Internship, and when he is done he will be a Grad V with Qual OK to audit OTs.:)
Having Tim here also allows me to handle more pcs, because sometimes I audit and Tim does too, and that puts the W.D hours up (my stat as a C/S)
Also consider that probably in January 2011 the price per hour of auditing will rise. I would have done it sooner, but the economy hasn’t been the greatest and I do try to keep costs down for students and pcs when I can.
Consider too, that the COS has tax-free income, and I do not. When one considers that almost 40% of income goes to IRS and Social Security it doesn’t leave a lot for the group to maintain its overhead.

Don’t forget too, that we have student auditing available from time to time. While student auditing is free to students on course, if you aren’t on course expect to donate something to keep in your exchange.
